Features and Specs of the Bwine F7GB2 Drone:

Camera:
What’s a drone without a camera? It doesn’t make sense to be in the sky and not have a bird’s-eye view!
The Bwine F7GB2 boasts a 90 degrees adjustable camera and 120 degrees FOV lens that can shoot both 2K and 4K resolutions. This combination provides high-quality color contrast and balances your images and videos to look natural and clear. It’s just like viewing with the naked eye!
A 3-axis gimbal stabilizes all the drone movements (yaw, pitch, and roll) to provide smooth and steady pictures and videos. Better still, the 5X digital zoom allows you to bring an image closer before taking the desired shot without the need to change lenses.
If you’re a fan of night footage, Bwine F7GB2 is what you need. It has an in-built night vision feature that allows you to capture high-quality night scenes. This way, you can enjoy the starry sky and full moon.
The camera has an SD card slot for adequate storage.

Flight Modes:
Being a high-quality camera, intelligent flight modes are a necessity. Bwine F7GB2 has the following flight modes to make your experience fun and effortless;
- GPS Auto Return: The GPS stays connected to the satellite to enable steady movements. Furthermore, the Return Home feature has 3 modes: signal loss return home, one-key return home, and low-power return home. These modes ensure the drone returns and lands safely at the take-off point. Better still, you don’t have to worry about losing your drone.
- Follow Me: It allows the GPS Follow Me mode to track the drone’s movement automatically. All you need to do is ensure you’re flying in an open area where the GPS signals have no obstruction and a maximum flight range of 164ft.
- Route Planning: Also called the waypoint, it allows the drone to follow a specific route plan. Set up your desired route plan on the map within the limited flight range, then mark the points you plan to fly to.
- One Key to Share: You must ensure you share the best for the love of images and videos. This feature allows you to modify the filters and change or add music to the footage in-app. Then, you can easily share on your social network with just a single key.
Flight Time:
As a unique selling point, the flight time of Bwine F7GB2 is quite impressive. You get 50 minutes of flight time to explore and record your stills and videos adequately. Depending on the conditions, you can surpass the 50th minute slightly or have a slightly shortened flight.
Battery:
The Bwine F7GB2 drone comes with two powerful rechargeable batteries-one inside the drone and the other in the box. Unlike an acid battery, these Lithium-ion batteries are more robust and have a higher energy capacity.
Each battery has a capacity of 2600MaH, which is powerful enough to last you 25 minutes on a full charge. While these batteries take about 6.5 hours to fully charge, rest assured of lasting energy.
Performance:
The low-noise brushless motors put up a robust and reliable performance. Plus, there’s a level 6 wind resistance that ensures Bwine F7GB2 flies quietly and steadily in harsh weather.
Still, its ability to steadily hover in one spot without wiggling around makes filming easy and enjoyable.
Bwine F7GB2 has a beginner mode that limits the height to help the novice handle the drone better. You’ll also get videos and a guide to help you get started on flying this drone. But expect no trouble because it flies itself.
Flight Range:
As per the manufacturer, Bwine F7 can fly at an altitude of 9842ft.
Additionally, its camera can support a real-time 5GHz Wi-Fi FPV transmission range of the same altitude.
Keep in mind that Bwine F7 doesn’t have obstacle avoidance sensors. So, flying the drone in an open area without magnetic, building, or tree interference would be best.
Controller:
Bwine F7’s controller is easy to use. It feels pretty solid and fits in your hands ergonomically.
It features a smartphone holder that you can easily adjust to fit the size of your phone.
The joysticks feel very comfortable on your hands. You can also detach them if you want to operate them hands-free. It turns on quickly by pressing and holding the power button on the left once.
The Return to Home is on the right, and the far-left button is for speed. One beep shows slow speed, two for medium speed, and 3 beeps for high speed.
Press the right top button to take a video and the left to take photos. The zoom feature is also next to the image capture button. You can still use the Bwine F7 App to record if you want to avoid using the controller.
The manual guide has a QR code to help you load the App quickly into your smartphone. Just hold the phone over the code and follow the brief instructions.
However, due to connection problems, it would be best to fly using the remote controller and not the App.
The transmitter operates using a sizeable LCD screen with an inbuilt chip to help strengthen the signal for better connection. On the screen, you’ll see the battery strength, speed level, and GPS connection strength.
There’s also a USB charging port underneath the controller.
Bwine F7GB2 Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Easy to operate
- Far and fast recording
- Steady and high-quality camera
- Easy to set up
- Excellent flight time
- Several flight modes
- Foldable for easy storage and portability
Cons:
- It doesn’t have obstacle avoidance ability. This is a disadvantage for beginner pilots who lack the proper skills to maneuver through obstacles.
- You are likely to experience issues with the first flight. After set up, the drone may experience challenges in the GPS connection to stabilize it in the air.
How to Fly Bwine F7GB2?
After reviewing the features and advantages of Bwine F7, I’m sure you’ll be getting one soon. Once you do, here’s a guide to fly it quickly.
Setup Process:
The first impression while unboxing the drone was satisfying. I noticed how well-packaged the drone was, plus the nice carrying case for portability and an extra battery. The carry bag is also an excellent way to organize your gear.
It also had a well-written manual with adequate instructions and a guide on everything you need to fly the drone. The manual also has well-illustrated diagrams to help a beginner understand it better.
Bwine F7 felt solidly made with high-quality materials. Setting up was a breeze. It included; unfolding the back arms first, then the front arms. They all lock tightly in place.
There’s a plastic that protects the 3-axis gimbal from hitting anything, and silicon cushions for eliminating vibration when moving in any direction.
I also noticed that the antennas have wires, which shows they are functional. When placing your smartphone, ensure the antennas are facing down flat to provide a stable resting area for the phone.
Charging:
The drone battery takes 6.5 hours to charge, which is pretty long. Take your time to go through the quick start guide as you wait. Better still, download and familiarize yourself with the Bwine App.
However, the controller charges quickly within an hour.
Power Up the Drone and Connect the Remote Controller:
Fortunately, Bwine F7 comes with one intelligent battery already inserted. All you need to do is charge it before flying the drone.
Once the battery is fully charged, you’ll see all the strength bars full of a steady blue color.
Press the power button underneath the drone and hold for a few seconds until you hear a single beep and a Bwine signature tune. Repeat the same with the controller.
After powering the controller, don’t touch anything else. Please wait a few minutes for the flashing as it finishes setting and establishing a secure connection.
If the flashing continues, know that the drone and controller are not well connected. Solid light, however, means a successful connection.
If you like to have options for flying, you can connect the remote controller to the Bwine App and follow the prompts.
After downloading the App, you’ll see a simple tutorial showing how to update the firmware. Once updated, click and wait before you start using it.
Usually, the App allows live footage. But if it doesn’t show, check the USB settings and click on file transfer. Try as many USB settings as available and ensure you get the right setting based on what you are looking for.
Basic Settings:
Always do a pre-flight check before launching your drone into the open sky. Is your drone flying as expected? What if there’s an emergency?
Set your drone to a flight mode that keeps it safe in case of any risk of signal loss or drone loss. Preferably, the RTH would be appropriate to bring it back to its take-off point.
Calibration:
Calibration is yet another essential setup procedure. Use the Bwine App for calibrations; go to settings, compass calibration, and save your settings. Allow the Wi-Fi signal to connect successfully. It’ll beep if the connection fails.
Now, test the calibration by spinning the drone a few times clockwise. Once the App approves, find the checkmark by rotating the drone.
A significant disadvantage of calibrations in this drone is that you’ll have to keep doing it every time you want to fly your drone something like the first DJI Mavic Mini.
First Flight:
If the weather is calm, get the Bwine F7 in the air.
Turn on the controller with a long press and the drone. Wait for about 40 seconds to allow both to connect.
Bwine App doesn’t have an auto-take-off button. So, launching manually will need you to pull the sticks together inward, and the props will fire up.
Go up using the left stick to bring the drone up. You’ll notice that the drone hovers steadily and gently. Test the speed and camera as you play around with the controls. That’s it!
What’s It Like to Fly the Bwine F7GB2 Drone?
As a beginner owner, I’ll admit that I experienced some minor issues with the first test flight. On a sunny day, seeing the instructions on the smartphone was difficult. That’s why I keep saying there’s much need to familiarize yourself with the Bwine App before flying.
However, I was already used to the calibration and pairing process in my second and third flights, which I finished within a few minutes.
After taking the videos on my first 3 flights, I edited and stored them. After switching to a better-quality SD card, I noticed that the edited videos appeared sharper with minor quality drops.
With frequent practice, I’ve realized that flying Bwine F7 is more straightforward than I thought. I haven’t tried many flight modes, but the Follow Me feature worked well with the first trial.
I’m confident that you’ll also enjoy flying the Bwine F7GB2.
Bwine F7GB2 Alternative-SJRC F7:
If you didn’t know better, you’d easily confuse the Bwine F7 for the SJRC F7. The two drones are very similar to each other.
However, I’d vouch for Bwine F7 over the SJRC F7 because it works better for beginners. The stability is incredible, and the brushless motors are powerful and silent.
Overall, Bwine F7 is impressive. Rest assured of excellent performance, stability, and durability. Better still, the price tag is affordable for most beginner pilots.
Final Thoughts:
Is the Bwine F7GB2 drone with a camera for adults 4K worth your money? Absolutely yes!
It flies great and comes with all the necessary advanced features. The autopilot is also excellent.
As a beginner, Bwine F7 is the perfect drone to buy. The stability, long-lasting battery, and high-quality camera are desirable features with a lower price tag.
